Childrens University
We are always keen to encourage children to do extra-curricular activities and Plymouth Children's University runs a great scheme to support this. For every activity children do they can collect a stamp representing an hour or half hours activity. This goes into their personal passport. After 30 hours they get a bronze award, 65 hours silver. 100 hours is gold and means they are invited to graduate at a special ceremony at Plymouth University.
Children can collect stamps from any club in school. If they go to any after school/weekend or holiday activities the organisations they attend can become accredited. Many local clubs and organisations are already accredited, for example swimming lessons, St Germans Youth Club and many others.
