At St Germans School, our intent in Geography is to provide a stimulating environment that will develop enquiring minds and instil a love of learning in our children. We want to encourage our children to be inquisitive about the world they live in. We want  them to ask geographical questions about people, places and environments in relation to their locality as well as the wider world and to make links between them. We want to develop their geographical knowledge both inside and outside the classroom, developing skills including map reading and gaining an understanding of natural processes and patterns.
